1 Abstract

An electrophotographic recording material which comprises an electrically conductive support having thereon a photoconductive layer, characterized in that said layer contains one or more hydrazone compounds corresponding to a following general formula (I) to (II): ##STR1## wherein: R represents a homocyclic or heterocyclic group with aromatic character, including such group substituted with one or more non-ionic substituents, each of R 1 and R 2 (same or different) represents a C 1 -C 6 alkyl group, n R 3 represents hydrogen or a N,N-substituted --CH═hydrazono group, n Z represents the atoms necessary to close an adjacent aromatic nucleus, or aromatic ring system substituted with a N,N-substituted --CH═hydrazono group, and n X is a bivalent homocyclic or heterocyclic aromatic group.
