1 Abstract

An aqueous latex of a chlorinated aliphatic polymer conntaining a plasticising additive in the solids phase of the latex. nThe latex may be prepared starting from a solution of the nchlorinated polymer in an organic solvent (for example carnbon tetrachloride) which also contains a plasticising additive; nan emulsion in water is prepared from this solution and the norganic solvent is then selectively removed by evaporation to nyield the desired aqueous latex.
