Description
Contributes to succinate dehydrogenase (quinone) activity. Predicted to be involved in mitochondrial electron transport, succinate to ubiquinone. Located in mitochondrion. Is expressed in several structures, including body wall musculature; excretory cell; intestine; nervous system; and pharynx. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Leigh disease; dilated cardiomyopathy 1GG; lung non-small cell carcinoma; mitochondrial complex II deficiency; and paraganglioma.
