Description
Predicted to be involved in mitochondrial respiratory chain complex I assembly. Located in mitochondrion. Part of respiratory chain complex I. Is active in mitochondrial inner membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including axial skeleton; brown fat; cranium; ear; and limb. Orthologous to human NDUFB2 (NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit B2).

- complex I-AGGG
Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed not to be involved in catalysis (PMID: 38575788). Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain (PMID: 38575788). The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone (PMID: 38575788).
