Description
Enables endopeptidase activity. Involved in cell migration and protein processing. Located in extracellular space. Is expressed in egg; female reproductive system; oviduct; and uterus. Used to study prostate cancer. Orthologous to human MEP1A (meprin A subunit alpha) and MEP1B (meprin A subunit beta).
