Compound Summary for: CID 5761

Lysergic Acid Diethylamide

Also known as: Lysergide; Lysergamid; Delysid; N,N-Diethyllysergamide; D-Lsd; ACID; Lysergaure diethylamid; Cubes; Pearly gates
Molecular Formula: C20H25N3O   Molecular Weight: 323.432   InChIKey: VAYOSLLFUXYJDT-RDTXWAMCSA-N
Semisynthetic derivative of ergot (Claviceps purpurea). It has complex effects on serotonergic systems including antagonism at some peripheral serotonin receptors, both agonist and antagonist actions at central nervous system serotonin receptors, and possibly effects on serotonin turnover.
